Golden Bay Exhibitions

It has been a while since my last blog post (Years!) so I thought I would catch you up on what I have been up to!

I am exploring my artistic ways in Golden Bay, New Zealand, drawing the local birds which are a feature of life in this country and obviously represent who we are - proud to be ‘Kiwi’.

Exhibitions are always a feature of life as an artist and I was lucky enough to showcase my works in two Takaka galleries over the last 12 months - The Art Vault and Paper Scissors, Rock. Both galleries are run by truly supportive creatives and people I call close friends.

In collaboration with my close friend Jess (Florist/Artist) we showcased ‘Feathered Foliage’ which included individual works and sculptural pieces created together.

February 2025 I was invited to showcase at Paper, Scissors, Rock and I had the main window space which allowed my work to be displayed 24/7 which was very cool and perfect while we had longer daylight hours!

And now in May 2025 I have art showing locally at The Butcheress, Golden Bay Community Health Centre and The Dangerous Kitchen! Three bustling places in Takaka!
